These things from ancient times arise from one:
The sky is whole and clear.
The earth is whole and firm.
The spirit is whole and strong.
The valley is whole and full.
The ten thousand things are whole and alive.
Kings and lords are whole, and the country is upright.
All these are in virtue of wholeness.

A page does not exist alone; it is part of a whole, the site being designed.

Always, this wholeness should be clear. Design must be consistent: the same colors, the same icons, the same fonts, the same navigation. Each page should lead the journeyer back to home, each page should provide a path to contact you, each page should let that journeyer know they are still on your site.

Clear, firm, strong, full, whole. This is a virtue.
