Site Design: Launch!

STEP FIFTEEN: PUBLISH AND LAUNCH

If you did not enter the FTP information into the Site Definition window before, do so now. For eden, that information is:

Access: FTP
FTP Host: ftp.eden.rutgers.edu
Host directory: public_html
Login: your_eden_username
Password: your_password

Then simply put all the files (if you need help remembering how to publish files, see the DW Tutorial again).

Once everything is up, plug the URL into a browser, and test it all again to make sure everything is there and working. Then you're ready for whatever official "launch" you want, such as advertising the site's existence through email.
