Site Design: Introduction

So far, we've learned a vocabulary to discuss design as well as the basics of actual webpage creation, both in hard code and in DW. Now it's time to begin consolidating and extending those skills by considering the entire process of designing a site.

This tutorial will walk you through the process of site design, step by step. I've designed literally scores of sites in my day, and what follows is a rough outline of the process I follow for each and every one. I'm hoping that, in some ways, this will be the most valuable tutorial I give you, and I'm hoping you'll return to it again and again in the process of creating your midterm, collaborative, and final project sites.
